Osseus look like bone: pale discs, spirals and fans lying on the ground. They grow on rocky, metal-rich and rocky-ice worlds in thin carbon dioxide, ammonia, methane, argon, nitrogen or water; a few species need volcanism.

Discus and Pellebantus pay well. With an 800 m colony range, plan the drive between samples.
