Electricae are bundles of thin, glowing filaments spreading from a small base, best seen at night. They live on icy bodies with thin argon, neon or helium atmospheres.
They grow only in some regions of the galaxy, and Pluma only under certain classes of the system's main star, not the star the planet orbits. The 1 km colony range makes them the slowest genus to sample.
