Concha look like a single shell half-buried in the ground, opening upwards like a clam. They grow in thin carbon dioxide, ammonia, nitrogen and water atmospheres.

Their colour follows the star for some species and the crust's elements for others. Biconcavis, found in thin nitrogen, pays best.
